You will be part of DNV’s Group Sustainability Development and Climate team, and part of Group Communications at headquarters. Group Communications consists of highly competent professionals within internal and external communications, public affairs and sustainability and you will also be working closely with DNV business areas and the Global Shared Service organization. The Sustainability Reporting Manager will be a core member of DNV’s sustainability and climate strategy team and the corporate reporting team, working closely with stakeholders across sustainability, people, finance and with our business areas.  

Main Tasks:

  • Keeping up to date with the latest developments, regulations, and standards in the ESG space, including those stemming from or relating to GRI Universal, CSRD and TCFD standards
  • Building working relationships and collaborating widely with the company’s finance and legal team to document the financial impact of ESG
  • Collaborate on shaping DNV’s sustainability report and prepare for assurance consistent with industry best practices 
  • Project manage DNV’s annual year-end sustainability disclosures. These include the annual sustainability summary, contributions to the Annual Report, case studies, and reporting on DNV’s Sustainability goals
  • Collaboration with business areas and country organizations to collect reporting data
  • Develop and manage reporting tools to measure DNV’s impact on selected SDGs and alignment with the EU taxonomy and other relevant frameworks
  • Auditing responsibility for Environment and Climate (ISO14001), the Sustainability report (work with external auditor) and reporting relevant to WBCSD and UN Global Compact
  • Input to ESG ratings or green finance
  • Respond to supplier assessments requests
  • Other ESG-related projects.

Position Qualifications:

  • You have completed a university degree, BA or Master, preferably with a Science / Sustainability / Legal / Economics related focus 
  • You ideally have 5-8 years of professional work experience 
  • You have a good understanding and experience in complying with climate and ESG reporting standards  
  • You understand how government policy and market trends affect sustainability requirements 
  • You have good project management and decision-making skills, and you meet targets and deadlines 
  • You may have experience of leveraging digital ESG platforms  
  • You have the ability to operate effectively across geographies and to be culturally adaptable 
  • You have an enthusiastic attitude, work well in teams and are able to adapt quickly to a fast-moving environment  
  • You convince us as being a highly efficient professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and timely with high quality 
  • We can rely on your fluent English or equivalent Business English language skills, both written and oral.

The working language is English and this position is based in Høvik, Norway.
